10 Blogger Recipes I Make Again and Again (Part 2)

November 5, 2019 by Julie 17 Comments

Back in 2016 I shared a blog post highlighting recipes from fellow bloggers that I found myself making time and time again. Since that post was published nearly three years ago, I figured it was time to do a follow up post because I’ve come across a bunch of new must-make recipes that have quickly become favorites in our household. Here are 10 blogger recipes I make again and again!

Top 10 Blogger Recipes

Today’s collection of 10 blogger recipes features everything from vegetarian dishes and simple Instant Pot meals to tasty desserts, crunchy salads and comforting curries. I hope at least one of the recipes featured below pops out at you and becomes a new favorite in your house as well!

10 Blogger Recipes I Make Again and Again

  • Instant Pot Paleo Chicken and Broccoli (Lexi’s Clean Kitchen)

This Instant Pot Paleo Chicken and Broccoli is a great recipe to double if you’re serving a crowd because it’s simple to make and tastes fantastic served over fluffy brown rice. The flavors are warm and comforting and the dish reminds me of a healthier version of American Chinese takeout. Bonus: It’s very easy to make and comes together in a flash.

  • Lentil Soup (Chocolate Covered Katie)

This lentil soup tastes like comfort food in a bowl. It’s my go-to recipe when I’m looking for a comforting vegetarian meal. It’s warm, hearty, vegetable-packed and a recipe I make on repeat in our house, especially once winter arrives!

  • Feel Good Zucchini Muffins (Pinch of Yum)

You guys know by now that I am a muffin-making machine and I had to give this zucchini muffins a try when I saw them pop up on Pinch of Yum’s blog. They’re naturally sweetened with dates and maple syrup and made with wholesome ingredients like oats, zucchini and eggs. They’re muffins I feel good about serving to the whole family.

  • Maple Soy Glazed Salmon (SkinnyTaste)

This is Ryan’s favorite salmon recipe and I love it so much as well! The only change I make to this one is to substitute coconut aminos for the soy sauce. It pairs well with my ginger sesame broccolini and tastes great as leftovers on top of a cold, crispy salad.

  • Healing Lemongrass Chickpea Thai Green Curry (Ambitious Kitchen)

I know the name of this recipe is a mouthful but your mouth will thank you if you make it! It’s packed with so many good-for-you ingredients and the flavor of this dish is fantastic. It’s great alone or served on top of rice or cauliflower rice.

  • Egg Roll in a Bowl (Peace, Love and Low Carb)

I know there are a billion egg roll in a bowl recipes floating around the internet but this is the first one I’ve tried and I’ve never been tempted to try any others because it’s perfect! I love everything about this recipe from the warm, toasted sesame flavors to the pop of fresh ginger and the crunchy cabbage base.

  • Christmas Sugar Cookies with Easy Icing (Sally’s Baking Addiction)

I first discovered these cookies last year during the holiday season when I was on the lookout for a great cut-out sugar cookie recipe that would work well for our kids to decorate with various colors of icing. The cookie recipe and the icing recipe featured in this post are both slam-dunks and I’ve made them repeatedly this year. We do cut-out sugar cookies for a bunch of holidays in our house (pumpkins for Halloween and/or Thanksgiving, stars for the Fourth of July and whatever our kids are into for birthday celebrations) and it’s a recipe I turn to time and time again.

  • Thai Crunch Salad with Thai Peanut Dressing (Iowa Girl Eats)

If you think salads are boring, please make this salad ASAP. It’s the salad of all salads and a huge crowd-pleaser. It’s filled with texture and bright, fresh ingredients and the dressing is easy to whip up and incredibly flavorful.

  • Instant Pot Teriyaki Chicken (Well Plated)

If you’re looking for an easy, tasty chicken teriyaki recipe, I strongly encourage you to give this one a try. The only change I make is to substitute boneless, skinless chicken thighs for the chicken breasts and it turns out great every time.

  • Spicy Peanut Soup with Sweet Potatoes and Kale (Pinch of Yum)

This is the kind of recipe that, at first glance, I wasn’t sure would be a winner for our family. I’m so glad I paid attention to all of the positive reviews on this recipe and gave it a shot because it’s cold weather perfection. It’s thick, hearty and comforting and healthy to boot!

I made the thai peanut salad last week and it was so good, I definitely recommend it. We’ve been making the white BBQ chicken from A Foodie Stays Fit a lot recently.

Yes! I love when you share a recipe post like this. I make a few of your chicken recipes on repeat—the “easy baked” with the ketchup which sounds weird but it’s awesome. Thanks for sharing!

I don’t have a recipe to share but I do love all of pinch of yums stuff! Her instant pot pineapple chicken tacos are out of this world!

I came here though to make a request – or a post idea!. I love ALL of your “things I’m loving Friday” posts but I find it hard to go back and search and find the little gadgets or things you have shared that you love. (Like that little pink scrapper thing. It’s the best!) But if you maybe had a “round up” post of your favorite home or beauty gadgets that you love, it would be great. Just sayin!

I’ll definitely try to do more roundup posts because I know it’s SO easy to lose track of things until the moment you realize — wait, I might actually want/need that!! I have my Amazon shop up now to hopefully make it easy to find Amazon products I recommend but I know that doesn’t cover everything!

The only recipe I make over and over again from a blog is your easy baked chicken with soy sauce, oregano, oil, garlic salt, and lemon juice. We make it at least once a week and eat leftovers on salads for lunches.

I make this often as well! Thanks for sharing the recipe (I think you call it “the best chicken thighs ever” or something like that!)

I also make Eat Live Run crockpot bbq chicken a lot. Chicken is one of the few things both of my kids will chow down on, so you soon better believe it gets made often!! I love the Skinnytaste salmon you referenced too—maybe this is where I heard about it originally…

Thanks for all the the great ideas and inspiration you share with us!

Sally’s Baking Addiction “Easy Maple Sesame Salmon”, Skinnytaste’s “Thai Coconut Shrimp Curry”, Iowa Girl Eat’s “Crockpot sausage and peppers”, Eating bird food’s “ Apple cinnamon baked oatmeal”, if you want any vegan ideas check out From my bowl and Sweet Simple Vegan, and 2 peas and their pod – any of their cookies are always a winner. I could keep going on and mention some of your recipes as well ?. I can’t wait to see what others share.
