Good morning! How are you guys doing today?

Things are going pretty well over here! We left off after lunch yesterday, so let’s back up a bit…

Last night I went out to dinner with some girlfriends, but only after this happened:

CPR certification 022CPR certification 023

CPR and AED certified, baby!

I successfully resuscitated this beautiful blue jean jumper baby and a half-man mannequin.

CPR baby mannequin

And there were no sternum/scrotum mix-ups! Phew.

Breakfast

I prepped my breakfast for this morning before bed last night and awoke ready to dig into the bowl of oatmeal cookie dough overnight oats that were calling to me from the fridge.

dariy free overnight oats

I sprinkled the oats with sunflower seeds for some added crunch.

A great breakfast!

Since I slept in a bit this morning, I’m leaving for the gym now to take an 8 a.m. strength class before heading back home to get started on my latest freelance assignment.

Enjoy your morning!

congrats on your certification! glad there were no mix-ups this time around.

i had the same exact thing for breakfast except i added a spoonful of crunchy peanut butter to the top of mine rather than sunflower seeds. it was a tasty one!

If you add a little flax seed to your overnight oats, they become even more dough-like – it’s my new obsession! I made a peanut butter cookie dough version here: http://wp.me/p2dcjI-1cP

Hahaha I’m glad there were no body part mix ups today! And I used nuts today too to add some crunch to the curry tuna salad I made to bring for lunch! So good! Although I used pumpkin seeds since I have a bunch on hand

Nice job on your certification! I was CPR/AED trained this past semester for Girls on the Run and it has been so good to have! I haven’t had to use it yet (thankfully) but I just feel more comfortable knowing that I will know what to do if a situation does come up!
